Clovercroft Elementary School Counseling
What We Do
Our School Counseling Program at Clovercroft supports students in the following ways:
- Short-term individual counseling
- Collaboration with parents and teachers to support students
- New student and friendship lunch groups
- Student character recognition
- Life Skills lessons
- 5th Grade Student Council
- School-based therapy liasion/referrals
- 504 coordination

Character Education
At Clovercroft, teachers lead classroom meetings to build character and community while school counselors lead Life Skills lessons. Each month, we utilize the "7 Habits of Happy Kids" by Sean Covey to teach students the following skills.

Stop and Think
A Fairview Elementary school counselor is encouraging her students to stop and think, and the district is encouraging others to embrace the concept as well.
